Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken in November and I've been DYING to share them with you, but we wanted to put them on Christmas cards, and some were gifts framed and matted, so we couldn't spoil the surprise! Now that Christmas is over and most of the hustle and bustle too, I can share with you - take a look.... We went to downtown Nashville and shot on the Shelby Street pedestrian bridge overlooking Nashville. Totally unique, and much more fun and relaxed than a studio shoot would have been for our family. Tip - take a friend with you to help hold stuff and wrangle kids.... Shawna was a life-saver!

Mary is One!!

Big girl!!!! I can't believe my baby girl is one year old! We celebrated with a party at Grampy and Grammy's house the day before her birthday complete with family, friends, BBQ and Elmo cake. Mary totally demolished her smash cake without hesitation, and even took her first steps at her party. Here's the highlights :)....

Sweet sisters - big sister loved helping Mary open all her presents!

I'm having a hard time believing it's been a year with my sweet baby. She's developing a great deal of personality and we are loving continuing to get to know all her little ways. She is a joy to watch play with her big sister and I can't wait to see her when she's a big sister herself! Our one year checkup is Thursday, I'll let you know how it goes.
